Andrew P.

Andrew P is a musician based in Tokyo. He began making electronic music in his bedroom during high school, and has played in various rock and jazz bands in New York and Japan as a guitarist, drummer, pianist and bassist. He has also collaborated with audiovisual unit "Public Visuals" to create image videos incorporating footage shot from everyday scenes in life. Influenced by abstract painting, hip-hop and 90s electronic music, images of memory and perception permeate his bold visuals and music. "Palace" explores the themes of the distortion of natural reality by the electronic world and the desire to escape our new digital existence.
