KOMONO LAKE, a unit formed by singer Kanbin and producer SKYTOPIA, has released their 4th Single "LIGHTS"! A minimalistic and fantastical arrangement, groovy beats, and lyrics that connect nature and the city create a unique world view. A song that makes you want to listen to it alone or with friends on this warm seasonal night. The concept of KOMONO LAKE is “natural city pop”. While inheriting the modern Japanese soul sound, he aspires to a musical style influenced by city pop and Showa songs. 1st EP "LAKE" will be released on May 12th. KOMONO LAKE
A three-piece unit with a musical style influenced by city pop, Showa era pop music, and soul/R&B. They are active mainly in Tokyo. Since being formed in 2021 by singer Kanbin, producer SKYTOPIA, and bassist Kuroji, they have released three EPs and one full Album so far. In 2023, they successfully completed a Taiwan tour, and recently were selected for TuneCore Japan's "WHO AM I?", selected for Spotify's "RADAR: Early Noise" playlist, and introduced as a notable artist in 2024 on Fuji TV's "Tune." Their catchy melodies and transparent singing voice continue to attract attention.
