Velludo

A four-piece neo-psychedelic band formed in the late 1980s by Shuntaro Okino and Keigo Oyamada, on the eve of the debut of Venus Peter and Flipper's Guitar. The repertoire written between 1987 and 1988 was newly recorded in 2024, 37 years later. This first Album has universal value, free from the concept of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa as eras. As if reading between the lines of time, the songs have retained their uniqueness and timeless appeal that has made them popular across generations, even as the century has changed. The band's simple sound, with an emphasis on melody and no decoration, is the 37th memory game. Here is psychedelia that has evolved beautifully while still retaining its rough texture.
