Fukuoka-born singer-songwriter Ryu Sakamoto has released a new Single, "ATX Inspired." ATX stands for Austin, Texas. This song expresses the feelings he had in the city where he lived while studying abroad in the United States, with a relaxed dance beat and pop melody. The lyrics, composition, and arrangement were all done by himself, and the ukulele performance by Austin-born Sho Humphries is also worth noting.

Ryu Sakamoto
Born in 1996. A singer-songwriter from Fukuoka Prefecture. After moving to Tokyo and the US, she is now based in Fukuoka. Her songwriting is influenced by Western pop music and her unique, loose vocals make her songs soft yet danceable. She is active in many areas, including producing and singing the theme song for the TV commercial "Buzz Pass" and the RKB radio show "Toi Toi Toi." In October 2023, she passed the audition to be the opening act at the music festival "The Creators," which will feature Ishino Takkyu and DAOKO.
