Singer Kanbin and producer SKYTOPIA's natural city pop unit KOMONO LAKE has released the long-awaited 1st EP "LAKE". While inheriting modern Japanese soul, his musicality influenced by city pop and Showa Kayo creates a fantastic and high-resolution scene across the city and nature. The MV for the lead track "LAKE" will be released at the same time. Inspired by the deep mountains of Kochi, where Kanbin was based at the time, the song begins with a filtered intro, creating a sound that spreads out before your eyes. An EP released by a notable unit that has surpassed 40,000 views with just four Single since its formation at the beginning of this year.

KOMONO LAKE
A three-piece unit with a musical style influenced by city pop, Showa era pop music, and soul/R&B. They are active mainly in Tokyo. Since being formed in 2021 by singer Kanbin, producer SKYTOPIA, and bassist Kuroji, they have released three EPs and one full Album so far. In 2023, they successfully completed a Taiwan tour, and recently were selected for TuneCore Japan's "WHO AM I?", selected for Spotify's "RADAR: Early Noise" playlist, and introduced as a notable artist in 2024 on Fuji TV's "Tune." Their catchy melodies and transparent singing voice continue to attract attention.
