A four-person band that started as a musical activity on the internet by guitarist and vocalist Asahara. Formed in Tokyo, they are active mainly in the metropolitan area. They have been described as "the embodiment of Japanese rock in the 00s", and are characterized by a pop-like melody in a big rock sound. The origin of the band name is that Asahara wanted to have a name that combines elements of his favorite color, yellow, and his favorite animal, the penguin.
