araide

araide is a music unit formed in October 2023 by singer-songwriter Shoma Arai (from The Sunnys) and multi-instrumentalist Yoshiharu Oide. Based on Shoma Arai's lyrical vocal demos, they have elevated the sound to a melancholy city pop sound with Yoshiharu Oide's guitar, bass, keyboard, and DTMDrums and retro sound arrangements. Their music is a fusion of future funk, R&B, rock, lo-fi hip-hop, and indie folk, updated to a modern version.
