Festival Yosakoi Dance Troupe
The Matsuriya Yosakoi Dancers are an authentic Yosakoi team from Kochi. In 2010, the team first participated in the Yosakoi festival, hoping to enliven the Aki Summer Festival, which is held in Aki City, Kochi Prefecture, the hometown of the first representative. They have participated every year since then. In 2013, they won the Aki Summer Festival, and in 2019, they received their first ever Regional Competition Hall Association Encouragement Award at the Yosakoi Festival. They have won the same award again since, and in 2024, they received the Special Jury Award.
